The Coalition for Taxpayer Financial Choice (CTFC) is an organization committed to helping all taxpayers gain access to clear, factual information about tax-related financial products that provide short-term financial solutions and to enable taxpayers to make educated choices about these products.

Such financial options are important to many taxpayers who may not have access to immediate credit through means such as home equity loans or credit card advances. Recognizing that tools such as refund anticipation loans and non-loan products are valuable to many taxpayers, CTFC is working to ensure that taxpayers have information on their choices and that these options continue to be available and that they are covered by the strong consumer protections in current regulations.
